Event Overview

Join us for the 14th Annual Milford Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk to benefit The Beth-El Center in Milford. The Beth-El Center is a recognized leader in caring for and meeting the needs of the hungry and homeless and strives to prevent and end homelessness. All proceeds will be donated to our charity partner.

Health and Safety Notice

Event Status: While our plan is to conduct the Trick or Trot 5K in person, we are subject to the direction and authority of all State and local health authorities.
Virtual Option: Should the Federal Government, the State of Connecticut, the City of Milford, or other health authorities issue any directive that such activities cannot or should not move forward in person, the Trick or Trot reserves the right to alter the event to virtual with or without notice.

Registration Pricing

Adults: The cost to register for the race is $40.00 + a processing fee of $3.63. Your total cost for signing up for the race is $43.63.
Youth (under 18): The cost to register for the race is $25.00 + a processing fee of $2.67. Your total cost for signing up for the race is $27.67.
Refund Policy: No refunds shall be provided to any runners or participants.

Registration Details

Late Registration: All registrations on Friday and Saturday must be done online from this website.
No In-Person Registration: In-person, paper, or cash is not available.

Costume Contest

We give out prizes for the best costumes! You’re not required to wear one, but many do and are eligible for awards!

Event Schedule

Oct 12: Guaranteed shirt sizing ends. All other entries will receive shirts “as available” and we could sell out.
Friday 10/24: Early Bib, Shirt & Swag Pickup - 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Beth-El Center, 90 New Haven Ave, Milford. We encourage you to join us to avoid Saturday stress.
Saturday 10/25:
- 7:30 am: Pre-registration bib, shirt, and swag pickup at Lisman Landing, Helwig St, Milford.
- 8:30 am: FREE kids Halloween Dash (Ten & under only).
- 8:45 am: Announcements, introductions, dignitaries.
- 9:00 am: START of the 5k run/walk. Snacks and fluids to follow.
- 9:45 am: Awards distribution begins. No formal ceremony: only overall winners and costume winners will be awarded at the pavilion.

Awards Information

Awards: First MALE AND FEMALE, and three deep in age groups 9 and under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above. Everyone who is registered and completes the 5k course is eligible for awards based on finish time.

Please remember to use your bib only. Do not give away, exchange, or use someone else's. This could ultimately affect the finish positions of everyone in the race.
