🏃♂️ Event Overview
- 11th Year: The Mighty Dog Trail Runs are in their 11th year in 2026.
- Distances: The event offers two distances: 5K & 10K - both for walkers, runners, and their dogs!
- Mighty Mile: Back in 2026: The Mighty Mile run for your Senior Dog.
- Fun for All: We are excited to offer this event for athletes and their dogs.
🗓️ Event Details and Schedule
- Start Location: The races will start from Granite Beach parking area at Folsom Lake SRA.
- Aid Stations: The 5K course will have one aid station at the halfway point with water for both walkers and their dogs.
- Mighty Mile: A one-mile dog-friendly course for walkers and runners to bring their dear old friend along.
- Finisher Medals: All Mighty Dog athletes will receive a Mighty Dog Finisher Medal, and their dog a Mighty Dog Finisher Bandana at the finish line.
🎖️ Awards and Fees
- Awards: First, second, and third place in three divisions for the Mighty Dog 5K & 10K Run: Small Dog, Medium Dog, and Large Dog.
- Additional Dogs: Each additional dog can be signed up to accompany the walker for a fee of $10 per dog.
- Shirts: Commemorative Mighty Dog race shirts are available for $20.
- Race Fees: Fees increase on race day.
⏰ Event Schedule
- Registration Opens: 7 a.m.
- Mighty Dog 10K Run: 8:00 a.m.
- Mighty Dog 5K: 8:10 a.m.
- Mighty Mile: 8:15 a.m.
🔄 Refund and Transfer Information
- No Refund Policy: TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all events.
- Credit Details: A refund requested prior to race week will be provided as TBF Race credit minus a $25 processing fee.
- Transfer Policy: Race transfers are allowed within a one-year time frame with a $25 transfer fee.
- Credits: Credits are not given during race week.
🤝 Race for FREE Information
- Volunteer Program: Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher.
- Shift Duration: Each volunteer shift is 4 hours.
- Reservation: Volunteers should reserve a position by emailing Volunteers@totalbodyfitness.com.
- Quick Fill: Volunteer positions will fill up quickly.
