Date and Location
- Date: 2026-08-22
- Location: East Recreation Pool & Playground, Diamondhead, MS
Race Schedule
- 5k Start: 8:00 AM
- Kids' 1/2 Mile Start: 8:45 AM (note, this has been reduced from 1 mile to 1/2 mile)
Registration Fees
- 5k: $20 for GCRC Members, $22 for Non-Members (plus RunSignUp's fee)
- Late Registration: $25 for late registration the morning of the race.
- Children Registration: $15 for all children 12 and under (includes both distances)
- T-Shirts: Guaranteed only to pre-registered participants.
Post-Race Amenities
- Food and Drinks: Drinks, food, fruit, and snacks after the race.
- Pool Access: Runners will get free access to the pool after the race.
- Awards: Awards for all the normal divisions in the 5k.
- Certification: USATF certified. Hilly out and back challenge.
