Big Red Apple 5K & Fun Run

Race Overview

The Big Red Apple 5K, presented by First Baptist Church of Cornelia, begins and ends at the church and the course goes through the Cornelia City Park. The One Mile Fun Run is 4 laps around the church property.

Participant Benefits

• T-Shirt: Participants will receive a t-shirt.
• Finisher Medal: Every participant will get a finisher medal.
• Official Timing: Race timing will be provided for accurate results.
• Awards: Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner, as well as age group category winners.

Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: You must be registered by Sept. 6th to be guaranteed a shirt.
• Race Day Registration: All those registering through race day will receive shirts while supplies last.
• Packet Pick-Up: Begins at 7:45 AM on race morning.
• Race Date: The event takes place on September 26, 2026.

Pre-Race Activities

• Warm-Up: Jazzercise will lead a warm-up before the race.
• Coffee: BSG Coffee will be on site with coffee to energize you for the race.
• Treats: Enjoy a nice treat afterwards with coffee from BSG Coffee.
• Location: The race will start and end at First Baptist Church, Cornelia, GA.
