Healthy Selfie 5K Your Way!

Get your steps in and smile on! We’re celebrating 10 YEARS of Healthy Selfie 5K!

Healthy Selfie 5K Your Way has both a virtual and in-person option, so you can crush 3.1 miles in your own way, on your own time, or with a community group!

Virtual 5K Option

• Registration: Register first, then complete 3.1 miles at your own pace, wherever you like, whenever you like from September 1-30.
• Locations: Bike the West Orange Trail, hike at Oakland Nature Preserve, rollerblade around your neighborhood, it all counts.
• Segments: If you want to break it up into smaller segments, go for it!
• Communication: We love when folks send in their finish line photos. Tag or DM us on social media @healthywestorange, or email us at selfie@healthywestorange.org.

In-Person 5K Option

• Event Date: Join us on September 12 at 8:30am at Orange Technical College West Campus to walk or run a 5K as a community.
• Everyone Welcome: All ages and mobility levels are welcome!
• Address: Orange Technical College West Campus: 2010 Ocoee Apopka Rd, Ocoee, FL 34761
• Schedule: 7:30am – Sign-in, 8:15am – Warm-ups, 8:30am – Ready, set, GO!

5K Prize Info

• T-shirts and Medals: In-Person 5K T-shirts will be distributed first come, first served starting at 7:30am.
• Size Availability: Specific sizes are not able to be reserved or guaranteed, as there are limited quantities.
• Finish Line: Medals will be distributed to participants at the finish line!
• Virtual Pickup: T-shirt pickup for virtual participants on October 1 from 4pm to 7pm at the Healthy West Orange Building.

Photo Contest

• Participation: Show us how you’re completing your 5K between September 1-30 for a chance to win a Prize Pack!
• Prizes: Could include gift cards or a 1-year Family Membership to the YMCA of Central Florida!
• Submission: Email a photo (AKA Healthy Selfie) to selfie@healthywestorange.org, or use hashtag #healthyselfie5K #HealthyWestOrange by September 17!
• Eligibility: Prizes are limited to residents of specified zip codes.
