Sunday, October 12th, 2025
Come spend a magical morning in the Enchanted Forest and "Run for Rides" to help us raise funds for a new tram cart! The Enchanted Forest is the flagship sanctuary of the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program. The Forest consists of 480 acres with hiking trails, an environmental education center, and great opportunities to see the natural Florida!
While advance, online registration is encouraged, there will be on-site registration before the race on race day.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Friends of the Enchanted Forest, Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to protecting Brevard County’s natural treasures and connecting the community with all the Environmentally Endangered Lands properties. Funds will be used toward the purchase of a new tram cart to be used for guided trail rides!

The Enchanted Forest is a nature sanctuary and the health and safety of our wildlife populations is a priority concern. We ask that race participants abide by the following rules:
The Kids Fun Run starts at 7:15 a.m. The 5K & 3K runs starts at 8:00 a.m. The 5K run/hike starts at 8:10 a.m.
The Kids Fun Run is approximately .25 of a mile. A mandatory pre-race meeting will take place at the start line at 7:45 a.m. for both the 10K run and 5K run/hike. The 5K run/hike will consist of one loop of the course.
The course is beautiful but challenging. The trails were created with hikers and group tours in mind, so they are wide and well-maintained. The outermost reaches of the trail along the Magnolia Loop are more technical, with roots and other hazards, but most of the course consists of beginner-level trails. While there are a handful of hills, the elevation changes are minimal.
Aid StationsThere will be one water station on the course and one post-race refreshment table at the finish line. The on-course water station will be at the junction of the Mesic Trail and Magnolia Loop, approximately 1.5 miles into the course. 5k runners will pass the water station twice and 10k runners will pass it four times. The finish line post-race refreshment table will have a variety of options.
