Join us on Saturday, September 27th for our annual TEAM UP! 5K, starting at 8:00 am. Run the race to try to win a prize or walk the course with a Team of friends!

🎯 Purpose and Fundraising

Our annual 5K is a fundraiser and community-building event in support of the Salvation Army's free afterschool programs that serve the Fairfax County community. Funds raised help us to provide:

• Character building programs: Enriching young minds
• Music Instruction: Fostering creativity
• Homework Help: Academic support
• A warm meal: Daily nourishment for students

💵 Registration Fees

5K Registration Fees:

• $35: through May 31
• $40: June 1 through August 31
• $45: September 1 through Race day (September 27)
• $20: for 16 & Under participants

Online registration will close on Wednesday, September 25 at 8:00 pm. In-person registration will be available during packet pick up and on race morning.

T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for all participants registered by September 1st. Participants who register after September 1, will receive a t-shirt on a first come, first served basis until our supply runs out.

Teams of runners are welcome and encouraged!

📦 Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up will be on Friday, September 28 at The Salvation Army, 4915 Ox Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030 from 4:00-6:00 pm.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female overall finishers!

⏰ Race Day Event Timeline

• 7:15 am: Race day registration & packet pick-up opens
• 7:45 am: Warm up
• 8:00 am: 5K Run and Walk starts
• Post race: Enjoy music, snacks, and visit our sponsor booths.

Start - The Salvation Army, going North on Ox Road
Right Turn onto Braddock Road
Right Turn onto Sideburn Road (water station at Oakview Elementary)
Cross Intersection with Right Turn onto Zion Drive
Cross Intersection with Right Turn going South Ox Road
Finish - The Salvation Army
