Cal Tri Events has announced the addition of Cal Tri Culpeper 2024. Set for Sunday, June 9, 2024, the event in Culpeper, VA, becomes a host city to Cal Tri’s national US triathlon race series.

Cal Tri Culpeper returns to Culpeper’s Mountain Run Lake Park, situated in north-central Virginia. The event aims to increase triathlon awareness & engagement and raises funds for both local and national charities.

“This race is an opportunity to showcase the Culpeper community and surrounding area,” said Thom Richmond, CEO at Cal Tri Events.

The event weekend features 14 race options, including triathlon, triathlon relay, run-bike-run, swimbike, swimrun, swim and run at both sprint & Olympic distances. The organizing team adds that the race still has room for participants and volunteers.

Cal Tri Events is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission for its events to be ‘safe, affordable & accessible’. It is billed as the largest national short-course triathlon series in the US.

Olympic Distance Events: Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run

Sprint Distance Events: Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 Yard Swim & 5K Run

Triathlon: Swim + Bike + Run

Triathlon Relay: 2 or 3 athletes combined to complete the triathlon
