About the Fauquier Education Farm

• Fundraiser: The race is a fundraiser to benefit the Fauquier Education Farm.
• Mission: We are a 501(c)(3) whose mission is, in part, to advance agriculture through education and best method farming.
• Community Support: We support the extended community by donating our ENTIRE harvest of produce to local food banks (over 500 tons of fresh produce in total).
• Volunteer Reliance: We rely almost exclusively on volunteers to plant and harvest our crops, and we rely 100% on donations and grants to finance this endeavor.
