St. Andrew the Apostle 10K/5K/Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic School is excited to hold its 17th Annual 10K, 5K on Saturday, September 20. Our event began in 2008 and continues to be a community-building fundraiser to help the PTO enhance student academic and social experiences.

• Location: St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (6720-B Union Mill, Clifton, VA 20124)
• Course: STAA 10K/5K USATF certified course
• Setting: Tree-lined course through the Balmoral Greens neighborhood
• Atmosphere: Enjoy a great fall run and the post-race atmosphere

📅 Event Details

All courses are paved roads through the beautiful Balmoral Greens neighborhood.

• 5K Run: 8:00 a.m.
• 10K Run: 8:10 a.m.
• Fun Run: Starts at 9:15 a.m. on the school athletic field
• Fun Run Details: Themed approximately 1-mile, untimed fun run with 4 laps and color splashing stations

💰 Registration Fees

• 5K: $30 through August 1, $35 August 2 through September 1, $40 September 2 through Race Day
• 10K: $40 through August 1, $45 August 2 through September 1, $50 September 2 through Race Day
• Fun Run: $22 through August 1, $24 August 2 through September 1, $26 September 2 through Race Day
• Registration Availability: Online registration through race morning at 7:30 am: race day registration requires cash or check payment

🏆 Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for the top 3 overall male and female 5K and 10K finishers
• Age Categories: Top 2 in each age category for the 5K and 10K
• Course Records: $50 cash award for course record (based on gun time)
• Records: Open and Masters records for both 5K and 10K

👕 T-Shirts

All 5K and 10K participants will receive a race t-shirt. Register by September 1 to be guaranteed a t-shirt: shirts cannot be guaranteed for those who register after September 1.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

Registrants will be able to pick up their race packets on Friday, September 19 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Parish Hall, and on race day, Saturday, September 20 starting at 6:30 a.m. at The St. Andrew the Apostle parking lot, 6720-B Union Mill, Clifton, VA 20124.
