The Resolution Run 5K begins and ends in the heart of Downtown Marion at the McDowell County Courthouse on Main Street. From the starting line, runners head east onto State Street before connecting with the Peavine Rail Trail.

🌳 Course Details

The route follows the scenic rail trail and then winds through surrounding neighborhoods along Miller, Morehead, Lincoln, Spring, and South Garden Streets. Participants enjoy a mix of paved streets and trail sections, offering both variety and charm.

🏁 Finish Line

The course returns runners to Downtown Marion, finishing where it all began — at the Courthouse — with plenty of space for cheering and celebration.
