Event Overview

• Challenge: This unique 5K combines running & donuts to raise money for Hero to Hero, a non-profit aiding veterans in transitioning to civilian life.
• Volunteers: Meet the founder of Hero to Hero and veterans at the event.
• Participants: Walkers and children (with a parent or guardian) are welcome.
• Registration: Early bird registration ends on Thu, Aug. 27 at 11:59 PM.

Registration Details

• Early Bird Rate: $30 until Aug. 27, 11:59 PM.
• Standard Rate: $35 until Sep. 5 at 8 AM.
• Cap: 250 registrants - sign up early!
• T-Shirt: Guaranteed with early bird registration.

Donut Challenge Details

• Course: 5K through West Hartford with stops for donuts.
• Choices: Participants draw cards at stops: "Eat", "Carry", or "Free".
• Eat: Eat the donut before moving on to the next station.
• Carry: Carry the donut to the finish, penalties for damaged donuts.

Prizes and Rules

• Finishers: Top 3 male & female finishers win prizes from HOKA.
• Fun Event: Focus on fun, obey traffic laws, and cross safely.

• Traffic: Roads will not be closed: please follow all traffic laws.

Special Dietary Considerations

• Gluten-Free: Let us know and we’ll provide gluten-free donuts.
