Turkey Dash benefitting Nakon Foundation

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Foundation’s annual family-friendly 5k run/walk, the Turkey Dash, is held on Thanksgiving morning every year at Avon High School. Over 1500 runners, walkers and spectators join together to move in support of financial aid for breast cancer survivors right here in Northeast and Northwest Ohio.

🦃 Tradition and Impact

The annual Turkey Dash is a great family-friendly tradition to give thanks for your own health and support the health of others, and you are home in plenty of time to baste the turkey. The Turkey Dash has raised over $500,000 in the last 22 years for our mission.

• Turkey Dash race shirt: Every participant receives a race shirt.
• Pumpkin pie: Enjoy a delicious slice of pumpkin pie.
• Post run refreshments: Including coffee & hot chocolate.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

Awards are given to the top 3 male and female winners along with medals for the top 3 finishers in each age bracket.

• Age brackets: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24,… 75-79, 80+.
