Race Type: 1 Mile and 5K Race (All walkers and runners are welcome)

Sponsors: Rose Hill High School Cross Country

📍 Start and Finish Line

START AND FINISH LINE: Rose Hill United Methodist Church

Race coincides with the ROSE HILL FALL FESTIVAL

Traffic Control: There will be signs to aid traffic control.

Weather Policy: Races will be conducted regardless of rain.

Facilities: Restroom facilities will be provided.

📅 Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 6:30 am - 7:15 am (at race site)
• Report to Starting Line (1 Mile): 7:25 am
• Start 1 Mile Race: 7:30 am
• Report to Starting Line (5K): 7:55 am
• Start of 5K Race: 8:00 am

🏅 Course Description

The Run for the Roses held in Rose Hill, KS is said to be flat and fast with an out and back course ran along Rose Hill Road.

🥇 Awards

Medals: Awards will be given for the TOP 3 MALE AND FEMALE FINISHERS in each age division for each race.

Trophy: TOP MALE AND FEMALE FINISHER in the 5K race will receive a trophy.

Awards Ceremony: The awards will be given at the finish line immediately following each race.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packets can be picked up Friday afternoon, October 10th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose Room at 101 N. Rose Hill Rd. and the morning of the race at the church.

💵 Race Fees

Fees Increase: FEES INCREASE BY $5 ON RACE DAY!!!!! Race fees do include a shirt. Sizes will be determined at online registration.

• 9 and Under: Ages 9 and Under

• 60 and Over: Ages 60 and Over
