Sickle Cell Takes Flight 5k

✈️ Event Overview

All proceeds from this event benefit Project Seek Sickle Cell program and initiatives. Providing community support, resources and social activities to individuals and families living with sickle cell disease.

🏃‍♂️ Race Description

The race will start and finish at the Downtown Airport.

⏰ Start Times

• Fun Run: 3:45 p.m.
• 5K: 4:00 p.m.

💰 Entry Fee

• Fun Run: $10 – ages 10 & under
• 5K Registration: $25
• Co-Pilot (no running involved): $20

📝 Registration

Every participant who registers by September 15th will receive an official Sickle Cell Takes Flight T-shirt with their race packet. Registrations received after this date cannot be guaranteed a shirt.

📦 Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up will take place at Sportspectrum on Thursday, October 25th from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Race Day starting at 3:00 p.m.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be presented in overall male and female winners. 1st place male & female in each age group will receive an award. Age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
