Saturday’s Suggested Arrival Time:

• 8:30-10:15 am
• Registration/Bib Pick-Up Closes Promptly at 10:30.
• Pre-race Announcements: 10:45 am
• National Anthem: 10:52 am

IMPORTANT & FUN REMINDERS:

• Remember to Dress-Up: in your favorite Halloween costumes!
• Costume Contest: We’re gonna have a fun costume contest after the runs & walks!
• After Party: The food for the Tapping of the Great Pumpkin after-party will be supplied by Penna's Italian Market.
• Free Beer: Everyone over 21 with a race bib gets a free beer after the race!

Awards Ceremony:

• Costume Contest Winners: We can’t wait to see everyone on Saturday!
• Trade Secret: If you didn’t register in time to guarantee a shirt, any leftovers will be handed out on a first-come basis.
• Pick-Up Time: This will start exactly 1 hour after the start of the race at the main registration tent.
• Important Note: Please do not inquire about extra shirts before the one-hour mark as it will slow down the pickup line.

Event Outline:

• Location: Great Pumpkin Venue, Sumneytown Pike, Spring House, PA, 19477 (map provided above)
• Proceeds: 100% of the donations from Tapping of the Pumpkin will go directly to Gwynedd Mercy University.
• Events: Choose from chip-timed 5k or 10k or non-competitive/un-timed 2 mile Fun Walk/Run!

Saturday’s Suggested Arrival Time:

• 9:30-10:15 am
• Registration/Bib Pick-Up Closes Promptly at 10:30.
• Events Start: Lil' Pumpkin Kids Run at 11:00 am, 10k at 11:11 am, 5k at 11:20 am, 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 11:22 am.

Reasons Why This Event Will ROCK!

• Shirts: Every runner that registers before the t-shirt deadline will get a top-of-the-line long sleeve shirt!
• Finishers Medal: Every finisher gets a Scoogie-designed huge 3" finisher’s medal!
• Vanity Bib: Every runner registered in time gets a vanity bib (your name/nick-name).
• Costume Contest: Choose to run your event in a costume and you will automatically be entered in the 'Best Costume Contest'.

Awards:

• Overall Winners: Both male and female categories, plus top three males and females in each age category.
• New Age Groups: Includes 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-89.
• No Mailing: There will be no mailing of awards or shirts: they must be picked up in person.
• Early Notification: If you have to leave the race early for any reason, you must notify us to save your award.
