Join us for the Together We Run for Education 5K Charity Road Race on October 4, 2025, at Great River Park in East Hartford! Hosted by the East Hartford Alumni Association and Education Foundation, this scenic run/walk along the Connecticut River is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community and commitment to our students. Every step you take helps to support our mission of awarding scholarships to deserving graduating EHPS students and alumni, and mini-grants to teacher and staff who want to offer innovative enrichment programs for students. Your participation will also support mentoring and networking programs that inspire excellence and opportunity in East Hartford Public Schools. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day of fitness, fun, and giving back. Let’s run together to open more doors for our students’ future!

📅 Event Details

• When: Saturday, October 4, 2025 - registration at 9:00am, race at 10:00am
• Where: Great River Park, 301 E. River Drive, East Hartford, CT
• Parking: Available at American Eagle Financial Center, 333 E. River Drive, East Hartford, CT
• Food Trucks: Access to food trucks is included in the cost of registration
• Prizes: Prizes will be awarded!
• T-Shirts: T-Shirts will be provided

📝 Registration

• Registration fee for ages 19 and over: $38.10 (includes $3.10 fee)
• Registration fee for ages 18 and under: $16.90 (includes $1.90 fee)

Beginning and ending at the Great River Park amphitheater, the race will include roads, a hill or two, paved path and a small technical portion of gravel trail with a few rocks and roots to keep you on your toes! Enjoy the view of the Connecticut River as you make your way along the bike path before smiling big as you cross the finish line!

(If you’re debating on shoes to wear, keep to the road ones, trail shoes won’t be needed!)
