🦃 Welcome to the 16th Annual Running of the Turkeys

The 16th annual Running of the Turkeys through downtown York will take place Thanksgiving morning on November 27 with a start time of 8am. First Presbyterian and Trinity United Methodist churches will host the event.

🏃‍♂️ About the Event

• Founded: 2010 by local runners and church members.
• Purpose: To bring a family-friendly Thanksgiving run to York’s historic downtown.
• Community Focus: An opportunity for runners to give back to their community.

🎁 Donations to PATH

Runners can drop off non-perishable items to donate to PATH during packet pick up on Wednesday, November 26, or on the morning of the race.

• Recipient Organizations: Proceeds and donations benefit PATH, Grace and Mercy Soup Kitchen, and YSD1 Education Foundation.
• Current Situation: PATH's inventory is at an all-time low due to reduced donations, while their client base continues to grow.
• History: PATH has been serving the citizens of York since 1982, providing emergency aid and food services.
