Course Details
- Start Point: The race begins at the Galveston County Daily News offices.
- Route: Participants head northbound over the historic bridge, loop around at Tiki Island, and return via the same impressive structure.
- Terrain: Most of the course features the characteristic flat terrain of southeast Texas.
- Challenge: Runners face the exciting challenge of conquering the 72-foot tall causeway with its demanding 3.5% grade, both on the way out and back.
