The Toughest 10K Galveston, the second race in the Texas Bridge Series, offers runners the unique experience of crossing a true engineering marvel - the iconic Galveston Causeway.
Course Details
- Starting Point: Galveston County Daily News offices
- Route: Head northbound over the historic bridge, loop around at Tiki Island, and return via the same impressive structure.
- Terrain: Most of the course features the characteristic flat terrain of southeast Texas.
- Challenge: Runners face an exciting challenge: conquering the 72-foot tall causeway with its demanding 3.5% grade, both on the way out and back.
