🎯 Mission Statement

HCEF mission is to provide children and youth experiencing homelessness with a more equitable educational experience by partnering with students, families, and schools to eliminate the barriers caused by unstable housing. There are over 3,000 children and youth identified as experiencing homelessness by their Allegheny County school districts in the most recent state report.

🌟 Goals of the Event

• Fundraising: The run and walk target is to raise funds to help the organization invest more into the cause.
• Awareness: Increase the awareness about homelessness and its impact on education.
• Community Support: Engage the local community in supporting this vital mission.
• Participation: Encourage people of all ages to join in and contribute towards the cause.
