Event Overview

Let’s burn off as many calories as possible before the bird even comes out of the oven! 🦃✨Join FloDash runners and walkers for the 7th Annual AdventHealth Groveland Turkey Trot 5K & 10K presented by LiveTrends Design Group as we kick off Thanksgiving morning with a nationwide tradition for the whole family.

Course Details

• Scenic Route: Our scenic course showcases Groveland's beautiful hills along Wilson Lake Parkway.
• Road Closures: Closed roads thanks to the incredible support of Lake County, the City of Groveland, and the Groveland Police Department.
• Off-Road Terrain: For those tackling the 10K, a portion of the course includes hard-packed off-road terrain.
• Safety: The off-road section will remain open to cars but will be clearly marked for your safety.

Event Highlights

• Fun Atmosphere: Whether you’re running or walking, this event promises a fun and festive way to start your Thanksgiving.
• Social Media: Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
• Participation: All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal, and a post race snack and beverage.
• Registration Rule: All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED.

Registration Information

• Race Day Registration: There may be race day registration if we are not sold out, but the price does go up.
• Refund Policy: Please read our refund/exchange bib policy and our Frequently Asked Questions.

• Referral Rewards: FloDash Events will refund you $20 as a thank you when you get 5 friends to sign up using the referral link you receive with your registration confirmation email.

Giving Back

• Food Drive: We will conduct a collection of non-perishables during packet pickup and race day.
• Beneficiary: Donations will be delivered to the local non-profit, the FAITH Neighborhood Center, to help feed local families during the Christmas Holiday.
• Additional Support: In addition, donations made will also benefit The Neighborhood Center of South Lake.

Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Packet pickup will be on Tuesday Nov 24th and Wednesday Nov 25th from 1 PM - 6 PM.
• Race Day Pickup: Available from 6:00 am to 7:00 am at the race venue.
• Virtual Packets: Packets will automatically be shipped within two weeks after the race.
• Social Media: Feel free to post a picture of yourself completing the race and tag us @flodashevents #flodashrunner #virtualrace

Awards

🏆 Living Art Continues: The awards from LiveTrends Design Group aren't just any awards: they are living art pieces that add a whole new layer of sophistication to our recognition moments.

• 5K Awards: Top 3 Male and Female Overall, Male and Female Masters, Male and Female Grand Master, and top 3 Male and Female in 5-year age groups.
• 10K Awards: Top 3 Male and Female overall, Male and Female Masters, Male and Female Grand Master, and top 3 Male and Female in 5-year age groups.
• Results: Can be checked online at the end of the event.
• Award Pickup: Awards must be picked up during the ceremony and will not be held post-race.

Team Discounts

Bring the whole gang and take advantage of our group pricing when 4 or more members register under the same team name. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each registration.

Course Safety Rules

• No Pets: For safety reasons, NO pets of any kind are allowed on the race course during the event.
• Service Dogs: Service dogs will be allowed, and we ask that you please line up at the end of the pack.
• No Motorized Vehicles: Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course.
• Strollers: Strollers please line up at the back of the pack.
