THE MISSION.
Greetings from Dr. Dora Washington, Founder and Executive Director of Tower of Hope Ministries.
On behalf of our organization and our Race Team, thank you for your interest in participating in our annual Hope 4 Healing event!
- Goal: Raise funds and awareness of the need for healing from childhood trauma.
- Vision: Transform people from trauma survivors into healed overcomers.
- Purpose: Funds will support the Build the Tower Campaign to secure a permanent meeting space and cover essential operating expenses.
- Use of Funds: Technology upgrades, scholarships for our Academy program, and other pressing needs.
THE MINISTRY.
Tower of Hope Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We help people triumph gloriously over trauma through research knowledge and faith-based strategies.
- Founded: Since 2017.
- Empowerment: Helping men and women conquer long-term effects of childhood trauma through H.O.P.E. (Heal. Overcome. Persevere. Educate.).
- Methods: Accomplishing this through group workshops, coaching, online courses, and community outreach.
- Physical Exercise: An essential element in the healing process to reverse the effects of trauma.
THE MESSAGE.
There are numerous testimonies of how participants have found healing, hope, and help because of our program.

- Hope: This event will serve as a beacon to let people know that hope is possible.
- Healing Journey: Just like a race, healing comes one step at a time!
TENTATIVE AGENDA
FRIDAY, July 31st
- 4:30 pm-7:00 pm: Packet Pickup (Swag bag and race bib) - Place: St. Ann Community Center, 1 Community Center Dr, St. Ann
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st
- 6:30 am-7:45 am: Registration / Sign-in / Packet Pickup - Location: Tiemeyer Park, 3311 Ashby Rd, St. Ann, MO
- 7:15 am: Group Warm Up
- 7:30 am: Opening Ceremony, Remarks, and Prayer
- 8:00 am: Race begins promptly (timed event with immediate results available).
THE LOCATION.
Run, walk, roll, or stroll. This family event is open to all!
- Participation: Go at your own pace on foot, in wheelchairs (manual/electric), or bring baby strollers.
- Restrictions: No bikes, electric scooters, hoverboards, segways or other motorized transportation permitted.
- Course: Begins inside the park, ventures out along a neighboring street, and returns through the park.
- Duration: All participants must finish within 3 hours.
PARKING.
Please park in the Hoech Middle School parking lot across from Tiemeyer Park. Only handicapped parking and parking for sponsors will be allowed inside Tiemeyer Park.
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION THROUGH SATURDAY, JULY 11TH
- Virtual Participation: $29 plus $2.74 registration fee (ages 11+)
- Wheelchair: $29 plus $2.74 registration fee
- (5K) Adults: $39 plus $3.34 registration fee (ages 17+)
- (10K) Adults: $49 plus $3.94 registration fee (ages 17+)
Children 10 and under are FREE. Team registrations available with discounts for groups.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION.
If you don’t live in the Greater St. Louis area or cannot attend, you can participate virtually!
- Complete: Your 1 mile, 5K (3.1 miles), or 10K (6.2 miles) at any time or place.
- Registration: Register by Saturday, July 18th for receiving your race bib in the mail.
- Shipping: Registrations after July 18th will be shipped one week after August 1st.
REFUNDS.
No refunds will be issued due to costs incurred prior to the race. Bib transfers are allowed.

THE PRIZES.
Awards for the Top Male and Top Female finishers in each category: Adult, Youth, Wheelchair Adult, and Wheelchair Youth. Children will receive ribbons, and top finishers will receive awards.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.

- Included: Free race registrations and an info table at the event.

- Restrictions: Sponsors cannot sell items but can conduct raffles and collect emails.
