Get ready for it.... THIS YEAR MARKS THE 10TH ANNUAL SAVAGE FAMILY TURKEY TROT!! It amazes me what we have accomplished as a community. I had no idea that this race would make such an impact on the families of South Portland and I have all of you to thank for it!!

👨‍👧‍👦 Our Story

My kids (who were almost 7 yrs old at the time) and I decided to create this Thanksgiving morning event back in 2016 to honor their dad Nathan. Nathan was an avid runner, biker, triathlete and family man who lost his life to a fatal heart attack on July 2, 2016, just three weeks before he was set to compete in his first full Ironman event, and just months prior to his 40th birthday.

💸 Community Impact

• Volunteering: We work solely as volunteers.
• Funds Distributed: 100% of our profits go back to the kids of South Portland.
• Scholarship Fund: Money has primarily been donated to the Nathan Savage Memorial Fund.
• Total Donations: Since 2016, we have donated over $100K back to our community!!!
