We can’t wait to see you tomorrow for the Tough Cookie Trail Run!
Please note — the island has lost a lot of leaves, so the trail may appear less defined. Pay extra attention to the course markings, and be mindful that some rocks and roots may be covered by leaves. Watch your footing and take your time through those areas.

Lace up and hit the trails for a morning of strength, spirit, and community. The Tough Cookie Run is more than a 5K — it’s a celebration of resilience, nature, and giving back. This year’s race supports the Jefferson High School Football Team, helping fund resources and opportunities for local student-athletes.
Walkers and hikers are welcome — this is an inclusive event for all who want to move with meaning.
Parking on site, on streets (do not block driveways or mailboxes, you will be towed). You can also park at Little Nikki's and on the side street by Bridge Marina. Carpooling is encouraged.
This race also honors Lynette Denson, founder of Tru Nature Yoga and a beloved part of our community. In 2020, Lynette completed this very trail — 3.1 miles — just weeks after a hip replacement and in the midst of her fight with cancer. She passed in 2021, but her strength and grace remain the heart of this event.
