About the Race
"For The Bay 5K" is a fundraiser for Mobilize Love, a Menlo Church ministry partner, providing academic support, mentorship, and life skills training to under-resourced youth in the Bay Area. Mobilize Love's mobile after-school programs and human services address physical needs, develop life skills, and build community, fostering flourishing lives for children and families.
Impact of Donations
- Funding Goal: Each increment of $32,000 covers the cost of providing after school services to kids in resource-challenged public schools for the year.
- Weekly Reach: Serving over 300 kids per week during our after school programs.
- Skills Development: Developing literacy and numeracy skills.
- SEL Programs: Providing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).
