- Date: June 7, 2026
- Event: 42nd annual Lake Chabot Trail Challenge Half Marathon and 5K
- Start Times: Half Marathon at 8am, 5K at 8:30am
- Note: Race occurs rain or shine: no refunds
🏞️ Race Course
- Half Marathon: Scenic, hilly loop primarily on dirt fire roads
- Views: Ridge-line views of Lake Chabot, grassy slopes, and eucalyptus groves
- Time Limit: 3.5 hours for the Half Marathon
- 5K Course: Out and back with gentle rolling hills and mostly paved surfaces
💵 Race Fee
- Pre-registration: Sign up by May 10th to guarantee a t-shirt
- Costs: $40 for 5K, $65 for Half Marathon
- Race Day Registration: $45 for 5K, $70 for Half Marathon (cash, check, or Venmo only)
- Parking Fee: Approximately $5 at Chabot parking lot
📦 Race Packet & Bib Pick-Up
- Time: Race packet and bib pick-up starts at 7am
- Location: Willow picnic site (finish line area)
- Chip-Timed: Both races will be chip-timed
- No Mailing: No race packets or bibs will be mailed
👕 T-Shirt
- Inclusion: Entry fee includes a high-quality t-shirt for registrants by May 10th
- No Guarantees: T-shirt availability not guaranteed for late registrations
- Size Exchanges: Not allowed: select the correct size upon registration
- Post Race Check: Those without shirts can check in after the race

- Finisher's Medals: Awarded to all race completers
- Age Division Medals: Top 3 in 12 divisions for Half Marathon, 9 divisions for 5K
