We have also brought back the 100k Raven Challenge with all of the fun elements from last year -- plus we're looking to add a few more activities to the challenge during the month of November!

• Sign up: You can sign up for one or the other -- or do BOTH!
• Discount: Signups for both events at the same time get a discount which appears at checkout.
• Shirts: Available in long-sleeved cotton or short-sleeved tech fabric.

Raven Rocks Run - 10k Trail Run

The Raven Rocks Run is a challenging 10k trail run at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, NY.

• Event Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026 starting at 9am.
• Course Details: The course climbs to the two highest points in the park before a downhill finish.
• Course Map: See Course Map for details.
• Permit Approval: Race plans are contingent on permit approval from the Westchester County Department.

Raven 100k Challenge

The Raven 100k Challenge is simple: register for the challenge and run, hike, or walk 100k during November 1st - 30th, 2026.

• Registration: You can register as late as November 15 for the 100k challenge.
• Daily Average: Around 3k per day or 25k per week.
• Completion Reward: Finisher medallion for completing the challenge.
• Support: The challenge supports the Friends of Trailside Museum and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.

Bonus Achievements

In addition to the challenge, several bonus achievement badges can be unlocked:

• 10k Run: Run 10k on the Raven Rocks Run course (raven badge).
• Multiple Runs: Run 5x or 10x 10k courses (ultra raven badge, flock badge).
• Photos: Take selfies and submit photos for various badges (photographer badge, bald eagle badge).
• Special Badges: Other badges for distance, run times, and participation during special days.

HALFWAY (50K) Bonus Search

For those in the area near Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, if you opt-in via the badge update form after passing the 50-kilometer mark, we will send you GPS coordinates for a hidden challenge surprise.

• Unique Spots: Each participant will receive a unique location to find.
• Difficulty Level: Requests for easier or harder locations can be accommodated.
• Completing the Task: Let us know when you find your halfway bonus.
