Early Registration

Event Details

• Location: Pelham City Park, 2020 Ball Park Road, Pelham, AL, USA.
• Event Organizer: This race is organized by Pelham Strong.
• Open To: This event is open to people of all ages and fitness levels.
• Inspiration: 1 Corinthians 9:24 - "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it."

Schedule

• 8:00 AM: 5K Start
• 8:45 AM: 5K awards/recognition
• 10:00 AM: Opening Ceremonies
• 10:15 AM: Baseball/Softball Competitions
• Midnight: Paul Revere 1M Midnight Run

Awards

• 5K Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place medals will be awarded to the fastest times of both male and female participants in the following age categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• Midnight Run: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place medals will be awarded (no age categories).

• Medal: Finisher Medal (5K only)
• Bib: Individually Numbered Bib
• Timing: Chip Timed
• T-Shirt: Race t-shirt (optional) -- note the midnight run/walk comes with a special America 250th commemorative T-shirt

Registration Information

• Pre-Race Packet Pick-up: Pelham Public Library, 2000 Pelham Park Blvd, Pelham, AL 35124, Friday April 17th from 1PM until 4PM.
• On-Site Registration: Cashless (Credit Card Only) on-site registration available.
• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: 7:00 AM on Saturday April 18, 2026 near the start/finish line at the Pelham City Park.
• Water Stations: Located at the Start/Finish line and throughout the course.

Home Run Derby Events

• 10:00 AM: Pelham Police Department vs Pelham Fire Department
• Followed by: Pelham Rec Baseball 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U
• Ending with: 18+
• Coaches Event: 2:00 PM - 18+ OVER THE FENCE (200 feet) distance (wooden bats only)

Additional Information

• Hitting Competitions: Contact pelhamstrong35124@gmail.com for details.
• Helmet Requirement: All participating hitters must provide their own helmets.
• Bats: All bats will be inspected for league regulation standards (18+ = ONLY WOODEN BATS).
• Time: Each participant will receive 1 minute to hit as many home runs as possible, with a 30 second break permitted.

Cancellation Statement

• Refund Policy: Your entry fee is non-refundable. The event will occur rain or shine, warm or cold.
• Donation: In extreme circumstances of cancellation, your entry fee will be donated to the Pelham Park & Rec Foundation.

Proceeds

• Beneficiary: All proceeds from this event will go to the Pelham Park & Rec Foundation.
• Use of Funds: Funds will provide assistance to families for rec sports registration costs and/or equipment for players.
