Event Overview

We are excited to bring back the Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon at the Preston Miller Park in 2026! Let's Go!

Swim Segment

• Distance: 400 Meters
• Location: Russel Sim Aquatic Center
• Features: 50-meter lanes to stretch out and build your speed
• Style: Serpentine swim

Bike Segment

• Distance: 14 miles
• Route: From park left onto Veterans Blvd
• Terrain: Traversing through some neighborhood roadways
• Return: Making a loop and coming back to the park via Veterans

Run Segment

• Distance: 5k
• Start: In Park at Transition
• Course: An out and back in the Park and trails
• Surface: Paved and rock chip along the run

Participant Information

• Shirts: Each participant will get a shirt with their registration
• Finishers Gift: All finishers will receive a special gift
• Awards: Top 3 male and female overall, top masters male and female overall
• Age Groups: Awards for 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Sanctioning and Membership

• Event Status: This event is USA Triathlon Sanctioned
• Requirement: Participation requires a USAT Annual Membership
• One-Day Purchase: Available through registration

Kids Triathlon

• Time: The Kids Triathlon will take place at 9:30am following the adult event
• Course: Consists of a 50-meter swim, a 3-mile bike, and a 1-mile run
• Safety: Courses are being redeveloped in collaboration with city officials
• Focus: Ensuring the safest course for all participants
