We are excited to bring back the Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon at the Preston Miller Park in 2026! Let's Go!

🏊 Swim Segment

• Distance: 400 Meters
• Location: Russel Sim Aquatic Center
• Features: 50-meter lanes to stretch out and build your speed
• Swim Type: Serpentine swim

🚴 Bike Segment

• Distance: 14 miles
• Route: From park left onto Veterans Blvd
• Path: Traverses through some neighborhood roadways
• Return: Comes back to the park via Veterans

🏃 Run Segment

• Distance: 5k
• Start: In Park at Transition
• Type: Out and back in the Park and trails
• Surface: Paved and rock chip along the run

👕 Participant Details

• Shirts: Each participant will get a shirt with their registration
• Finishers Gift: Provided to all participants
• Awards: Top 3 male & female overall, top masters male & female overall
• Age Groups: Awards for ages 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

✅ Sanctioning and Membership

This event is USA Triathlon Sanctioned, and each participant will be required to have a USAT Annual Membership, available for one day purchase through registration.

👶 Kids Triathlon

The Kids Triathlon will be taking place at 9:30am following the adult event. The kid's event will consist of:

• Swim: 50-meter swim
• Bike: 3-mile bike
• Run: 1-mile run
• Course Status: Courses are being redeveloped for the safest route in partnership with city officials
