BeastLake 5K & Obstacle Course Race

Event Overview

Eastlake Community Church invites you to participate in the 8th Annual Beastlake 5K and Obstacle Course races on Saturday July 4th.

• Location: 1201 Timberwood Drive, Moneta, VA
• Event Date: July 4, 2026
• Open To: All people, of all fitness levels, from the novice to the hardcore athlete.
• Purpose: This event raises funds for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy.

Race Options

Choose from one of three events that best suits your fitness and skill level.

New Features for 2026

• Stay Cool Option: Includes a ‘slip n slide’ type water slide down part of the course.
• Balance Beam: An option to do the balance beam over an inflatable pool.
• Sprinkler Section: An option to run through a section of sprinklers midway through the race.
• Fun Experience: All water features are OPTIONAL and designed to bring an additional fun experience to the race.

Food and Amenities

We will also be having food trucks at this year's race with registered 5KOC and 5K participants receiving food vouchers.
