Fireball Classic 5K and Kid's Mile
The Fireball Classic 5K is a summer tradition that continues in 2026 for the 42nd year!
We are excited to welcome The Casual Pint - Northshore, as our title sponsor for this year's event.

Race Overview
Kickoff your 4th of July festivities with a fast 5k on Neyland Drive - it's the Fireball Classic 5k and Kid's Mile!
Course Description
- Start Point: East bound lane of Neyland Dr, in front of the G-10 parking lot
- Course: Runners will run out before returning in the west bound lane
- Finish: In the shadow of Neyland Stadium
- Kid's Mile: An out and back on Neyland Drive
Registration and Entry Fee
- Early Bird Pricing: $30 through December 31
- Standard Pricing: $35 from Jan 1 to April 30
- Late Pricing: $40 from May 1 to July 2
- Day of Race Fee: $45 (Kid's Mile fee is $10 through Dec. 31, then $15 from 1/1 to 7/3)
Shirts
- Adult Shirts: UNISEX COTTON MUSCLE TEE
- Kids Shirts: Receive a shirt and finisher's medal
- Order Deadline: Shirt order will be placed on June 5
- Size Exchange: Available after the race if supplies are available
Results
Results will be posted on Runsignup after the race.
Grand Prix Points and Team Competition
The Fireball 5k is on the 2026 Team Competition schedule.
Post Race Refreshments
Assorted refreshments will be provided post race in the event tent.
Race Etiquette
- Prohibited Items: Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course
- Course Closure: 5K course closes in 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Headphones: KTC discourages the use of headphones at events
