Bundle up and hit the pavement for a great cause at the Freezin’ for a Reason 5K. This winter-themed race challenges runners and walkers of all ages to embrace the cold while supporting the Dawson County High School Student Government Association. Whether you are chasing a personal best or simply out to enjoy a brisk morning with the community, this event is all about giving back while getting moving.
Participants will race on a fun, spirited course at Rock Creek Park in Dawsonville and celebrate their accomplishment at the finish line knowing their efforts directly benefit student leadership and initiatives at Dawson County High School. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in the standard five-year age groups, starting at 10 & under and continuing through 75+. Join us, brave the chill, and run for a reason.
Special Bonus: We're doing it at 3:00 in the afternoon, so no need to get up early.
