2027 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend

Race Overview

Big news for runDisney® and the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend! That’s because 2027 will mark the 30th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Half Marathon! In celebration, inaugural mascot Donald Duck will be the star of the show at every race on every course over the January 6–10 weekend, inviting athletes, fans and his Disney pals to join in his antics.

Race Events

• 5K Fun Run: Come join Pluto for a doggone fun 5K.
• 10K Race: Enjoy a nutty 10K with Chip ’n’ Dale.
• Half Marathon: Embark on the half marathon starring Donald and Daisy.
• Full Marathon: Take on the full marathon featuring Mickey and Minnie.

Challenges and Medals

• Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge: Side-splitting fun made up of both the half marathon and marathon.
• Dopey Challenge: Go for the ultimate feat by conquering all four races.
• Medals: As always, magic and one-of-a-kind medals are included.
• Character Presence: Donald being part of it all!

Important Information

• Health &: Fitness Expo: Participants must attend the runDisney® Health &: Fitness Expo at least one day prior to their first event to pick up their race bib, participant shirt, and pre-purchased merchandise.
• Expo Dates: The Expo takes place Wednesday, January 6 – Saturday, January 9.
