• Type: 14th Annual Emancipation Day Diabetes 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk - Run or Walk, Live or Virtual
• Location: 497 8th St., Laurel, MD
• Date: September 5, 2026
• Registration Fee: $25.00 per person, includes custom race bib and race medal

Beneficiary

For the benefit of University of Maryland's Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology-Midtown.

• Purpose: Serves children and adults with diabetes in Baltimore City and surrounding areas.
• Care: Offers high-quality care and assistance in managing diabetes and preventing complications.
• Impact: Annually sees over 3,000 patients, including those with Type 1, Type 2, or gestational diabetes.

Results and Awards

• Results Availability: On-line immediately after the race.
• Awards: Presented on site for overall and age groups.
