🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

• Date: September 14th, 2025
• Time: 7:30 am
• Location: 300 W Venice Ave, Venice, FL
• Course: 2 loops on the city's famous canopy tree-lined road

🎉 Post-Race Festivities

• Start Line: Across from Daiquiri Deck on Venice Ave
• Finish Line: At Daiquiri Deck and Centennial Park
• Activities: Post-race party with a beer garden, food (including vegan options), live music, and awards
• Our Aim: Raise environmental awareness in the running community and promote "less waste" environmental responsibility

♻️ Sustainable Practices

• No Single-Use Plastics: No plastic water bottles or goodie bags
• Reusable Cups: Water stops supplied with reusable silicone cups
• Compostable Supplies: Areca palm leaf plates and napkins that decompose in 8-12 weeks
• Food Donation: Unused food will be donated to our local Salvation Army

🏅 Finisher Souvenirs

• Souvenir Cup: Receive a silicone finisher cup at the finish line
• Multi-Use System: Fill your cup with water or beer
• Eco-Friendly Shirts: Made from rPET in partnership with Gulf Breeze Apparel
• Recycling Initiatives: Race bibs will be collected for reuse or recycling

🌳 Charity

• Proceeds: Majority donated to a local environmental charity/non-profit
• This Year: The Environmental Conservancy of North Port, dedicated to preserving natural habitats

• Live Music: Post-race party features music by the Gazebo
• Lawn Chairs: Feel free to bring lawn chairs for comfort

• Medals and Shoes: Drop-off bins for unwanted medals and used athletic shoes for recycling

• Opens: 3/3/2025: Adults: $40.00, Youth <14: $30.00
• Late Registration: 4/3/2025 thru 6/1/2025: Adults $45.00, Youth <14: $35.00
• Race Day: 6/2/2025: Adults $50.00, Youth <14: $40.00 (No shirt guarantee after 8/15/25)
• Tip: Be smarter, sign up early!

• Awards: 3 deep for various age categories
• Age Categories: 9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34
• Additional Categories: 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and Above, (80 plus)
• Special Awards: Overall M/F, Masters, GM, SGM, VGM

❗ Important Notes

• Bibs: All race bibs are made from recycled materials
• Collection: We will collect bibs at the end of the race with a drop-off bin
• Keeping Bibs: If you want to keep your bib for the memory, that's OK
• No Refunds: Please note that there are no refunds and no dogs on the course
