Explorer 5K & Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Hudson Athletic Booster Club is proud to sponsor the first ever Explorer 5K and Fun Run! No matter if you're training for your next marathon or you're training to be the next great couch potato, there's a race for you! It's sure to be a fun, family-oriented day, and the best part is that all proceeds benefit our Hudson High School student athletes.

• Date: Sunday, November 10, 2024
• Address: 2500 Hudson-Aurora Rd, Hudson, OH 44236

⏰ Timeline

• 8:00am - Same day Registration begins (Race apparel not guaranteed)
• 9:00am - 5K Race starts
• 9:15am - One-Mile Loop starts
• 10:00am - Fun Run starts

📍 Race Locations

• Explorer 5K: The Explorer 5K will start in the Hudson High School tennis parking lot and take runners through the scenic trail of Hudson Springs Park and then back to the high school to finish in the Hudson Memorial Stadium. Map below.
• One-Mile Loop: If you aren't up for the 5K then don't worry, the One-Mile Loop is for you! Not surprisingly, the One-Mile Loop LOOPS around Memorial Stadium. Map below.
• Kids' Fun Run: Kids are encouraged to take on the Fun Run, which happens on the Memorial Stadium track.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to the top male and female winners.

💰 Cost

• Pre-Race Register: for the 5K or One-Mile Loop is $35.
• Long-sleeve t-shirt: All participants who pre-register will receive a long-sleeve Bella & Canvas race t-shirt.
• Discount: All Hudson City Schools teachers or staff, as well as students, will receive a $5 discount!

📦 Packet Pickup

• For Teachers and Students: Pick up times will be Friday during school hours from 1:30pm - 3pm.
• Sunday, November 10th: from 7:30 to 8:30 - All registrants
• Location: Pick up will be at the Hudson Memorial stadium home side entrance.
