Our Mission

Sister2Sister, Inc. provides sanctuary, support, education, advocacy, and breast cancer-related programs for minority and underserved breast cancer survivors.

Why We Walk

The Run/Walk 4Life is a sacred event that honors the memory of those who lost their battle with breast cancer and celebrates the lives of triumphant survivors.

Proceeds Support

• Community Outreach: Breast health education workshops.
• BCAP: Breast Cancer Assistance Program providing emergency services during treatment.
• Support Services: Counseling sessions and survivor support meetings.
• Mammography Outreach: Helping to provide vital breast health resources.

Event Details

• Registration: Opens at 8:00 AM | Walk begins at 9:00 AM.
• Virtual Participation: Walk or run from anywhere—your neighborhood, favorite trail, treadmill, or local park.
• In-Person Location: Colonial Park, Lot B, 156 Mettlers Road, Somerset, NJ.
• Ready Gear: Bring sneakers, water, friends, and family for an inspiring day!

Registration & Fees

• Early Bird: Adults: $20 | Seniors, Teens, College Students: $15 (Until July 31, 2026).
• Registration Includes: Event participation and access to fundraising tools.
• T-Shirt: Official Run/Walk 4Life T-shirt (guaranteed if registered by August 14th).
• T-Shirt Pickup: At 1201 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ on specified dates.

Awards & Fundraising Challenge

The team that raises the most dollars will have its name engraved on Sister2Sister’s trophy, displayed at Headquarters. The winner will be announced at 9:00 AM on October 3rd.

Deadline to qualify: October 1, 2026, at midnight.

• Weather: The event is rain or shine.
• Severe Weather: Registration fees will be treated as donations if severe weather occurs.
• Donations: Accepted until October 31, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
