🥇 Finisher Medals
- Eligibility: The first 1000 runners to register for either the Mile or 5K will receive finisher medals.
- Medals: Determined by bibs assigned (1-1000 for Freedom 5K/Independent Mile). Bundle sign-ups receive only 1 medal.
- Additional Medals: Depends on how many RunningLane bibs go unclaimed.
👕 Runner Singlets
- Guarantee: First 850 registrations for the 5K or the 5K + 1 Mile bundle receive Freedom 5K singlets.
- Additional Availability: Extra 200 RunningLane singlets for those registering in case Freedom singlets run out.

Come Celebrate America's Independence with the all new Freedom 5K and back from its 9 year hiatus the Independence Mile!
The 5K and 1 Mile will start and finish at beautiful Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. Both courses will be USATF Certified courses as well as Sanctioned events. We're excited to make this the premier July 4th race in the Tennessee Valley taking you through the beautiful streets of Downtown Huntsville as well as Old Town.
