About the Race
- Host: West Orange Junior Service League
- Proceeds: All proceeds will go towards the West Orange Junior Service League Scholarship Fund.

- Activities: The event includes a 5K, Kid’s Fun Run, games, treats, festive activities, food trucks, and a live DJ.
Participant Information
- Included: Each registered 5K participant receives a timed race, dry-fit t-shirt, goodie bag, finisher’s medal, and post-race snacks.
- Prizes: Prizes for top finishers and a special cash prize for top under 18 years old runners.
- Kids Options: Ages 6-11 can participate in the 1/2 mile kids' run; kids 5 and under will have a shorter fun race for free.
- Registration: All kids must register and sign a waiver online prior to the event. Race shirts for kids are available for an additional fee.
Parking Information
- Note: There is no parking at the actual site; shuttle buses will run from the parking site to the race site.
- Shuttle Schedule: Shuttle buses operate every 10-15 minutes starting at 4:45 PM.
- Map: Reference the provided map for parking instructions.
- Arrival: Recommended to arrive early for shuttle services.
Race Schedule
- Packet Pickup: Race site pickup from 4:45 - 5:45 PM at Oakland Park (Kids' race must register by 5:30 PM).
- Fun Run Start: Young Kids' Fun Run starts at 5:50 PM; Older Kids' 1/2 Mile Run starts at 6:00 PM.
- 5K Start: The 5K run/walk starts at 6:30 PM. The start line will remain open for 5 minutes.
- Water Stop: There will be a water stop around midway on the course.

- Anniversary: Celebrating the 17th anniversary of the 5K in Oakland Park.
- Gratitude: Special thanks to the residents of Oakland Park for their support.
- Funding: All funds raised go directly to the WOJSL's Scholarship Fund for local high school seniors.
