Christmas in July 2026 Baton Rouge is a fun and family friendly event used to raise money for a charity runner.

Charity Information

• Supported Runners: Funds raised this year will support Amy Hall, who is running for the Surfgimp Foundation at the Rehoboth Beach Marathon in December and for Tina Travis and Jansen Jones, who is running for St. Jude in October.
• Surfgimp Foundation's Mission: The mission is to support individuals with disabilities who require assistance to pursue an active lifestyle.
• Facilitating Adventures: Surfgimp’s vision is to help facilitate adventures by providing support for extra expenses such as equipment, travel, lessons, entry fees, and more.
• St. Jude's Mission: St. Jude Children's Hospital advances cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases, ensuring no family receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

Fundraising Goal

Our fundraising goal is: $2,400.00

Participation Options

• Running Options: You can run in person from Santa’s workshop or virtually from your neck of the woods.
• Donations: All donations are accepted!
• Registration Perks: The first 100 runners to register will receive a 14 oz speckled coffee mug donated by Varsity Sports.
• In-person Gifts: Everyone who runs in person receives a gift wrapped Christmas present valued from $1 to $50.00, available at the finishers table after the run.

Post-Race Festivities

• Christmas Treats: Santa’s elves will have Christmas cookies after the run.
• Enjoyable Atmosphere: Stay and enjoy Christmas music.

• Water Stop: There will be a water stop on the course.
