Join us on Saturday, December 5th, 2026 for the Annual Ryan’s Run/Walk. This event is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for individuals living with Sickle Cell disease. It’s not just about running: it’s about uniting as a community to support a vital cause and making a real difference in the lives of those affected.

Event Schedule

• Date & Time: Saturday, December 5, 2026 at 8 AM
• Registration Opens: 6:30 AM
• Timings: Walkers will not be timed.

Registration Fees

• 1 Mile (Ages 1-14): $30 (Now thru Oct. 16th), $35 (Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th)
• 1 Mile (Ages 15+): $35 (Now thru Oct. 16th), $40 (Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th)
• 5K (Ages 1-14): $35 (Now thru Oct. 16th), $40 (Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th)
• 5K (Ages 15+): $40 (Now thru Oct. 16th), $45 (Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th)

Virtual Race: $35 (Now till Dec. 5th)

Race Routes

This year’s Ryan’s Run will feature a scenic route along the Mississippi River levee in downtown Baton Rouge. The race will start and finish on the Levee Terraces at the Levee Green near the USS KIDD. Participants will travel along the levee, turn around near W. McKinley Street, and make their way back toward the Levee Green for the finish.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, December 4, 2026
• Race Packets: Participants can pick up race packages on the day prior to the race.
• Registration: Available on race day starting at 6:30 AM. Bring cash or checks made out to the Sickle Cell Association of South Louisiana.
