📅 Event Details

• Anniversary Celebration: We're thrilled to invite you to the 10th Anniversary of Ryan’s Run/Walk on Saturday, August 23rd. For a decade Ryan's Run has been dedicated to raising funds and awareness for individuals living with Sickle Cell disease.
• Community Support: This event is not just about running: it’s about coming together as a community to support a vital cause and make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this challenging condition.
• Race Time: The race will begin at 8 a.m. and registration opens at 6:30 a.m.
• Walkers: Walkers are not timed.

💰 Registration Fees

• Runners & Walkers - 1 Mile: Ages 1-14 - Now thru July 15th - $25, July 16th - Aug. 22nd - $35.
• Ages 15+ - Now thru July 15th - $30, July 16th - Aug. 22nd - $40.
• Runners & Walkers - 5K: Ages 1-14 - Now thru July 15th - $30, July 16th - Aug. 22nd - $40.
• Ages 15+ - Now thru July 15th - $35, July 16th - Aug. 22nd - $45.

Virtual Walk/Run: $35

Non-Participating: Unable to attend but would like to donate click here.

🚩 Race Routes

• 5K Route: 4th St. North to Spanish Town, East to 5th St., North to Capitol Access, East to Capitol Lake, West to 3rd St., North to River Road, U-turn South to Spanish Town, East to 4th St., South to North Blvd.
• 1 Mile Route: North on 4th St. to Spanish Town, U-turn South on 4th St. to North Blvd.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Pickup Schedule: Participants will be able to pick up race packages on Friday, August 22, 2025. More details to come.
• Race Day Pickup: Packages not picked up on Friday will be available at the registration table on race day starting at 6:30 a.m.
• Payment: Please bring cash or checks made out to the Sickle Cell Association of South Louisiana.
• Route Confirmation: Race Route is the same.

🏆 Age Groups and Awards

• 5K Age Groups: Breakdown for the 5K: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Awards: TOP OVERALL - Male & Female, TOP MALES & FEMALES - By Age Group.

🎖️ Special Awards & Fundraising Recognition

• Top Fundraising Team: Team that raises the most money.
• Categories: Top Family (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), Business, Organization & School.
• Top Fundraising Individual: Person who raises the most money.
• One for the Team: Top Team with the most participants registered.
