Stocking Suffer 8-Hour Endruance Run

Event Overview

Kent Island Running Group invites you to run the Stocking Stuffer 8-Hour Endurance Run on the trails of Terrapin Nature Park on December 6, 2026.

Race Concept

• Format: The concept is simple: run more laps and earn more goodies for your stocking.
• Stocking: Each participant will receive a stocking.
• Goodies: You will earn a new goodie with each lap you complete.
• Challenge: Run more laps and fill your stocking while you suffer!

Course Details

• Loop Length: Participants will run the 2.8-mile loop around Terrapin Nature Park.
• Laps Counted: Only full laps will count.
• Tally Sheet: There will be a tally sheet at the start/finish where each participant's laps will be counted.
• Finishing: When you are done and tap out, we will fill your stocking with the appropriate amount of fun stuff based on your completed laps.

Charity Support

• Beneficiary: This race benefits Toys for Tots.
• Donation: Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate: there will be a drop box at the race.
• Cash Proceeds: All cash proceeds will go to benefit Haven Ministries Emergency Food Pantry.
• Mission: Haven Ministries is a faith-based organization dedicated to fighting hunger and homelessness in our community.
