Not many can say they have successfully escaped from Brushy Mountain State Pen...can you? After August 29, 2026 you can, and you'll have a medal to prove it! Join us for the inaugural "Escape From Brushy Mnt. State Pen 5k" starting within the prison walls, running around Petros, and finishing with the prison life behind you.
We are excited to be working with MoCo Mutts Rescue Center for our charity partner! You can donate when you register OR you can bring needed items to race day to be entered into a raffle! Needed items are: Contractor trash bags, kitchen trash bags, bleach, laundry detergent, dawn dish soap, Pedigree Puppy Food and baby wipes.
