• Organization: Haiti Committee members of All Saints in Cedar Rapids, St John's in Mt Vernon, and St. Mary's in Vinton are sponsoring the event with 100% of proceeds to benefit over 4000 students in Haiti.

Race Details

• Course: Enjoy a flat, chip-timed 5K course in the beautiful small town of Lisbon, Iowa.
• Finishers: Every finisher will receive a piece of freshly-baked church-lady apple pie.
• Awards: Top three female and male finishers in each age group get their choice of a home-baked pie.
• Timing: The event is chip-timed with bib-chips, and individual results will be available for printouts following the race.

Course Information

• Starting Point: The out-and-back course begins at the Lisbon city park on South Jackson Street, providing plenty of space for warm-ups.
• Facilities: Playgrounds are available for children to enjoy while participants prepare for the race.
• Water Station: A water station is located just before the halfway turnaround point.
• Purpose: All proceeds support the education of impoverished children in rural Haiti.

Start/Finish Location

• Start/Finish Line: The race will start and finish at the Lisbon City Park on South Jackson Street, Lisbon, Iowa.
• Packet Pickup: Race day from 7 AM - 8:30 AM.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Receive Haitian art.
• Age Group Winners: Have their choice of donated homemade pies.
• All Finishers: Each will receive a slice of homemade apple pie.
• Age Groups: Awards for top 3 in each group include: 10 and under (fun run), 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
