Course Details

• Starting Point: In the shadow of Mount Mitchell, the highest peak East of the Mississippi.
• Stages: Stages one and two drop over 3000' elevation in a combined 4.5 miles.
• Stage Three: Kitsuma trail, descending another 1300' in 2.5 miles.
• After-party: Start/Finish at Camp Grier with celebration activities.

Event Schedule

• Friday: 2:00 PM - Camping / Bunkhouses Open and fun activities.
• Saturday: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sign-In Open and continue having fun at Camp.
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - Racer meeting and race start at Heartbreak Ridge.
• Monday: 12:00 PM - Camping / Bunkhouses Closed.

Rules and Regulations

• Racer Safety: Wear helmets at all times during the event.
• Course Integrity: Complete every stage without cutting corners or switchbacks.
• Timing: The racer with the lowest sum of timed stage times wins.
• Disqualification: The Race Director can disqualify any racer or team for any reason.
