• Distance: A total of 72 miles divided into 12 legs ranging from 3-9 miles each
• Team Size: 3-6 runners per team
• Relay Start: First teams begin at 5:00 am in Asheville
• Finish Celebration: Enjoy music, food, and craft brews at Hampton Station in Greenville

💰 Team Payments

• Deposit: $300 required at registration
• Total Fee: $775, with payment deadlines on January 15, 2026
• Refund Policy: Unpaid teams lose their spot and deposit on January 16, 2026
• Finalization: Team rosters due by March 5, 2026

• Team Captains: Only required to attend, but all participants are welcome

🎂 Age Requirements

• Eligibility: All runners must be 21 or older to participate

• Guidelines: Be creative, but keep it classy
• Submission: Needed during registration: can be changed until March 5, 2026

🏅 Team Categories

• Categories Include: Open Co-ed, Open, Open Female, Masters, Masters Female, Masters Co-ed
• Requirements: Minimum of 2 females for Co-ed categories
• Team Changes: Can be made until race weekend
• Team Sizes: 3-6 members

👥 Team Captain

• Responsibilities: Each team must designate a captain for communication
• Updates: Captains receive regular race information via email
• Captain Transfer: Can be changed: notify via email

⏳ Team Pace

• Pace Requirement: Teams must maintain a pace of 11:00 minutes per mile or less
• Estimation: Team pace to be indicated at registration
• Deadline: Final pace estimates due by March 5, 2026
