Ville to Ville Relay

Race Overview

• Event Name: 2026 Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay

• Location: 2 Rocket Drive, Asheville, NC

Event Description

• Distance: 72-mile team-running event
• Route: Travels from Asheville, NC to Greenville, SC
• Teams: Consist of 3 to 6 runners
• Finish Line Celebration: At Hampton Station in Greenville, SC from 3:00-8:00 PM, including music, food, and craft brews.

Team Payments

• Deposit: $300 required during initial registration
• Total Fee: $775 (remaining fee of $475 due by January 15, 2026)
• Deadline: Team rosters must be finalized by March 5, 2026
• Processing Fee: 5.5% on all online payments

Race Theme

• Theme: Saturday Morning Cartoons
• Inspiration: Scooby-Doo, Rugrats, Ninja Turtles
• Encouragement: Dress up and decorate your vans!
• Goal: Bring your favorite cartoons to life on the course!

Packet Pickup & Welcome Receptions

• Thursday, April 9, 2026: Southernside Brewing Company, 4-7 PM
• Friday, April 10, 2026: Asheville Sports Club, 4-7 PM
• Saturday, April 11, 2026: Starting Line
• Attendance: Only team captains or representatives are required, but all participants are welcome.

Age Requirements

• Minimum Age: All runners must be 21 or older to participate.

Team Name

• Creativity: Be creative but keep it classy for public displays.
• Submission: Team names submitted during registration can be changed until March 5, 2026.

Team Categories

• Open Co-ed: Minimum of 2 females
• Open: All-male team or all males plus 1 female
• Masters: All team members must be 40+
• Team Sizes: Range from 3 to 6 members

Team Captain

• Role: Each team will have a captain for communication.
• Information: Regular race updates provided to the team captain.
• Transfer: Team captain can be transferred at any time.
• Contact: Existing captains should email info@villetovillerelay.com to request changes.

Team Pace

• Target Pace: Maintain a pace of 11:00 minutes per mile or less.
• Estimation: Estimated pace submitted during registration.
• Final Due Date: Final pace estimates due by March 5, 2026.

Cancellation & Weather

• Weather Policy: This is a rain-or-shine event.
• Director's Right: The race director can change the course due to inclement weather or restrictions.
