It's another round of the popular Start It, Stanly! Health and Wellness Series, HIKE IT! Atrium Health Stanly has partnered with Morrow Mountain State Park to provide this exciting opportunity. Come by yourself, with a friend, family, or bring a whole group to enjoy the chance to get away from technology while being physically active. Sign up for these FREE sessions today!

Important Guidelines

Dress Appropriately: Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and most importantly, wear trail appropriate shoes.
Footwear Warning: Flip Flops, sandals and open toed shoes are NOT appropriate.
Weather Notifications: In the event of inclement weather, we will send an email to participants.

Hike Schedule

We will hike the posted Saturday dates beginning October 17, 2026. Hike dates are October 17, 31 &: November 14 and 28, 2026. All hikes begin at 8:00 a.m. Please be sure to follow the schedule below for the starting point.

Meeting Locations

October 17, 2026: 8am - Sugarloaf Trail. Meet at the parking area located at the Bridle Trail/Sugar Loaf Trail/Horse Trailer Parking area, one-half mile on right after entering Morrow Mountain State Park.
October 31, 2026: 8am - Falls Trail. Meet in the parking area located near the Morrow Mountain boat launch and boat rental facility.
November 14, 2026: 8:00am - Hattaway Mountain Trail. Meet at the parking area located at the Bridle Trail/Sugar Loaf Trail/Horse Trailer Parking area, one-half mile on right after entering Morrow Mountain State Park.
November 28, 2026: 8:00am - Morrow Mountain Trail - FINAL HIKE. Meet at the parking area located at the Bridle Trail/Sugar Loaf Trail/Horse Trailer Parking area, one-half mile on right after entering Morrow Mountain State Park.
