Fairfield Run Participation Waiver and Release

By registering for Fairfield Run, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the following:

Participation Risks

• Understanding Risks: I understand that running, walking, exercising, and participating in group fitness activities involve risks.
• Potential Hazards: These risks may include falls, collisions, traffic, uneven surfaces, weather conditions, heat, cold, dehydration, illness, physical injury, serious injury, and death.
• Health Confirmation: I confirm that I am physically able to participate and accept full responsibility for deciding whether I am healthy enough to take part.
• Medical Advice Disclaimer: I understand that Fairfield Run does not provide medical advice or guarantee my safety.

Risk Acceptance

• Known and Unknown Risks: I voluntarily accept all known and unknown risks associated with participating in Fairfield Run activities.
• Release and Hold Harmless: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Fairfield Run, its organizers, volunteers, hosts, sponsors, partners, property owners, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation, including claims involving ordinary negligence.
• Safety Compliance: I agree to follow all safety instructions, traffic laws, route directions, and decisions made by Fairfield Run organizers.
• Responsibility: I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings, hydration, transportation, and conduct.

Emergency Procedures

• Emergency Contacts: If an emergency occurs, I authorize Fairfield Run organizers to contact emergency services on my behalf.
• Expense Responsibility: I understand that I am responsible for any medical or transportation expenses resulting from my participation.
• Agreement Application: This agreement applies to all Fairfield Run activities I attend during my active membership period unless I am asked to sign an updated waiver.
• Minor Participants: If the participant is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration and agree to this waiver on the participant’s behalf.

Waiver Confirmation

By completing registration, entering my name, and selecting the agreement box, I confirm that I understand this waiver and agree to its terms voluntarily.
