Event Overview
Please join us at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 24th in Canton GA to run or walk a flat, fast 5K course and help raise money for a truly worthwhile event, the Love Like Reed 5K.
Purpose and Background
- Mission: Founded in memory of Reed Allen Schonberger, a 15-year-old sophomore at Etowah High School who died by suicide on December 19, 2018.
- Legacy: Reed was known for his kindness, humor, and ability to make everyone feel seen.
- Foundation: In his memory, his family created LoveLikeReed to ensure all children and families have access to mental health support.
- Goal: "To help support the mental health of children and families in our community by providing financial assistance for counseling."
Nonprofit Information
- Recognition: We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
- Tax Information: All donations are fully tax-deductible.

Entry Fees
- Early Bird: $35.00 if received by midnight 10/1/26.
- Regular: $40.00 from 10/2/26 thru 9:00pm 10/23.
- Day of Race: $45.00.
