Purpose of the Event

• Fundraising: This event raises money for the Eaton County Dog Program.
• Support: The program supports kids involved in the Dog Project for the Eaton County Fair.
• Learning: Helps kids explore suitable dog breeds for their families.
• Training: Enables kids to become excellent trainers and caretakers of their dogs.

Registration Details

• Fee: $25 until April 12th: $30 from April 13th to April 26th: $35 race week (April 27th to May 2nd).
• Online Registration: All registrations must take place online.
• T-shirts: Provided for all paid participants registered by April 19th, 2026.
• Sizes: Available in adult (S-2XL) and youth (S-XL).

Event Schedule

• Check-in: Begins at 7:30 am on race day.
• Run/Walk Start: 9:00 am on May 3rd, 2026.
• Early Packet Pickup: May 2nd, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Eaton County Fairgrounds.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: 7:30 am on race day.

• Terrain: Mixed terrain, including dirt, grass, and paved sections.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Male and female winners will receive a $25 Playmakers gift card.
• Medals: Awarded to the top three finishers in various age categories.
• Categories: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.

Results

• Live Results: Available immediately following the event.
• Post Event: Results will also be posted on the website.

Community Impact

• Proceeds: Used to maintain equipment and hold educational classes.
• Annual Show: Hosts an annual show for kids to demonstrate their skills.
